きっかけは、昨年（2011年）の東日本大震災の時です。
2011年の3月、私は震災により、自分の今後について深く考えるようになったのと同時に、外国人の友達との交流で、日本人がたくましく震災復興に向けて立ち向かっていることを賞賛されました。
「日本人はこれほどの大惨事でも調和を保っている。みんなが協力して立ち直っていこうとする姿に心打たれる」といった友達の言葉を聞いたとき、自分がその言葉に感動して泣きそうになりました。
その時から、より日本人の素晴らしさに目を向けるようになり、色々な発見ができたと思います。
そして、私たちにはこれだけ素晴らしいものがある、ということをお伝えしたくて、記事にすることにしました。

In March 2011, the earthquake made me consider about my future.
At the same time, my friends from foreign countries praised the effort of Japanese people to recover from earthquake damage.
When I heard the words from a friend of mine that "Japanese people are cooperative even in such a catastrophe. I am impressed that everyone cooperates with one another to recover from earthquake damage", I was impressed with it and almost crying.
Since then, I have tried to find good aspects of Japanese people and discovered various things.
And now, I decided to write the article to report that we have wonderful things in Japan.
